Ecclesiastes 12:12
Finally, some philosophical considerations regarding the utilization and reception of this book (or any other book), paraphrased from the writings of British author CS Lewis:
"A scientific or engineering work such as this can be either "received" or "used." When we "receive" it, we exercise our senses and imagination and various other powers according to a pattern suggested by the authors. When we “use" it we treat it as an assistance for our own activities. . . . "Using" is inferior to "receiving" because science and engineering, if used rather than received, merely facilitates, relieves or palliates our research/applications?; it does not add to it."
