On a Rainy Night

Meanwhile in Hong Kong:

A beautiful city! Beautiful people! Chinese architecture wonderful and powerful in its own way...

Pouring rain,

streets full of shimmering, colorful, wet umbrellas,

walking with your dear husband under such a dome among thousands of others,

splashing in puddles - singing in the rain!

Shops full of shinning ware,

all sorts of candy looking medicinal plants/fruits in glass pots or plastic bags...

Attempting to say 'thank you' in Cantonese,

lotus flowers, bamboo and ginger in a vegetable bowl,

a boiled whole fish -

trying to eat with chop sticks!

A basket with two small ceramic mugs and a teapot filled to the brim with hot, fragrant tea...

Portuguese tarts for desert (Macau is close by)
